DEVELON has officially announced the launch of its brand-new DTL35 compact track loader, which is designed to help operators gain traction and maneuverability on construction sites and in tight spaces. According to certain reports, the stated truck loader comes bearing a 115.3-hp engine so to offer users top notch prospects in the context of productivity and durability. Within the same context, the truck loader further has two rubber track patterns, both including a wide and narrow version. There is also a wide multi-bar track which comes standard, whereas a block pattern is available as an optional facility. The idea behind delivering the same is to increase stability, and at the same time, reduce vibration and the risk of slippage. More on the optional block pattern would reveal how it is designed for durability on challenging terrains like rock, gravel or uneven ground. On top of that, it minimizes ground disturbance, thus making these tracks a viable option for landscaping and turf management. Joining the same would be a ride control functionality, which can reduce shocks and vibrations, offer stability for the bucket, as well as curb spillage when the compact track loader navigates rough terrain while carrying full loads. Alongside the ride control, customers can also come expecting an auto return feature. This feature will allow them to automatically return the arms to the lowered position, and therefore, save operators time. Markedly, it does all that in conjunction with conceiving a consistent digging depth.
Moving on, there is going to be a standard two-speed travel feature, including higher speed (up to 9.2 mph) for traveling long distances or moving between jobsites, and lower speed (up to 6.1 mph) for stabilizing the machine during controlled movements in challenging conditions. The new truck loader’s also has a reversible fan, which can protect against dust and debris, keeping the compact track loader’s engine clean and cool to help extend the life of the machine. Beyond dust protection, there is also a promise of better visibility, a promise which is delivered upon through the machine’s optional around view monitor (AVM) camera system that arrives with ultrasonic proximity sensors.
As for the truck loader’s reach and design, it is helped by a vertical lift arm configuration allowing the DTL35 compact track loader to extend its reach forward, making it possible to deposit materials into high-sided trucks, bins or agriculture mixers. To go with that, we also have a self-leveling feature which automatically adjusts the attachment to remain level as the arms are raised or lowered. Such a feature, on its part, goes a long distance to maintain the loader’s stability. Boasting a bucket shake feature to help shake loose or release materials stuck to the attachment and facilitate dumping without the need to stop and manually clean the machine, the machine even has a 3-ft. wide interior, a polycarbonate swing-out door, electric over hydraulic controls and a roof panel. Making it all the more attractive is an adjustable air-suspension heated seat accessible inside the machine, a seat which is complimented by air-filled cushions flexible enough to support the operator’s weight and movement.
Beyond design, the loader has in store great attachment versatility that translates to how it is equipped with a hydraulic quick coupler. The coupler, in essence, allows tool-free attachment changes, reducing the time required for manual attachments. At launch, DTL35 is offered with more than a dozen DEVELON attachments to help operators complete multiple tasks with one machine. These attachments include Angle broom Auger, Power rake, Hi-vis rail pallet fork, Scrap grapple, Skeleton grapple, Large-capacity root grapple, Low-profile dirt bucket, Utility bucket, Multi-purpose bucket, Rotary brush cutters, Snow blower, Snow/light-material bucket, and Snow pusher.
